Massive Hardware Acquisition

December 17, 2012

For the past two weeks EZ Get Cloud incurred big capital expenditures (CapEx) aimed to increase our hardware asset stock. Most of acquired servers, all network Layer 3 switches and all storage came form American famous hardware vendor, Dell Inc ( All the security devices purchased are from Juniper Networks Inc (

Asset Management at EZ Get Cloud produced a report that customer to hardware ratio with the latest acquisition dropped down to 53% of available resource utilization. This move will avoid any potential bottleneck on resource contention between existing customers or new subscribers.

New Cloud Technology decided

October 1, 2012

Today, here at EZ Get Cloud was made a decision on a new Cloud technology of choice upon an extensive evaluation process lasted throughout August and September. We are going to start offering to our existing and perspective customers Public and Private Cloud solutions yet in Q1 2013. These offerings will be based on Citrix ( CloudPlatform (commercial version) and CloudStack (Opensource)

Current product is at version 3.0.2 for CloudStack and seems to be quite mature. It has well defined User Interface and is a hypervisor agnostic. Though, our initial evaluation was based on Citrix XenServer hypervisor which is also will be a hypervisor of choice for EZ Get Cloud's Public Cloud offerings. Other hypervisors such as VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V, etc. would be available for Private Cloud deployments upon customers' request or due to historical reasons for those who has WMVare or Microsoft virtualization product licenses available for such a deployment.
